Instructions for authors

Odonatrix is published with cooperation of the Odonatological Section of the Polish Entomological Society.

We publish:

We prefer short papers, not exceeding 4 printed pages of a standard manuscript (type of 12 points, 30 lines per page, 60 signs in the line). The print of papers over 4 pages in length must be agreed upon the Managing Editor.
Papers should be written in Polish, with English abstract. In justifiable cases (e.g. foreign authors), the Managing Editor accepts papers in English or German, with Polish abstracts (translation into Polish can be provided by the Managing Editor).
The arrangement of the paper and the way of giving references sholud be patterned upon text in current editions.
Papers can be sent by mail (one hard copy and a disc version) or online by contacting the Managing editor: (pawbucz@gmail.com). Texts should be prepared in Word for Windows, tables - in Word for Windows or Excel, photographs and drawings as *tif, *gif or *jpg files, in at least 600 DPI (half-tones) or 1000 DPI (line). We accept careful ink and fineliner artwork as well as high quality prints.

The papers In "Articles" and "Notes" sections are reviewed. The remaining ones are not peer-reviewed but before publishing they can be modified by the editors with the agreement of the author. Unless they do not conform scientific, technical, stylistic or grammatical standards.
